AL WEAVER
LEAD GUITAR/BACKING VOCAL

Al has been a born again Christian for more than three years. Having played music for the past 30+ years, he used his talent for other things until God spoke to him through a dear friend.  It was then that he realized why he was blessed with this talent and that he was put here to bring God's Word to people everywhere. Al thanks God everyday for blessing him with this talent so that he can bring praise and worship to others. Without the support of his loving family and this great worship team that God has brought together, none of this would be possible.  For their support, he is eternally thankful. Praising with the guys from The Sent Forth, as they open people’s hearts to the Holy Spirit, has been, and he hopes will continue to be a blessing they will enjoy the rest of their days.

“I will try, with all my heart, to make God proud of me as he continues to call  me to his ministry.  In closing I would like to say,  May God show his blessings upon you all, daily!"
MICHAEL BOLIO
RHYTHM GUITAR / LEAD VOCAL

Michael gave his life to Jesus more than ten years ago.  After a Godless marriage, as well as drug and alcohol use, the Spirit called to him and led him to church.  Having been a working musician most of his life, he started using the talent God had given him to sing praise.  Initially in his own church and then, as word spread of his growing commitment to the Lord, many other churches as well.

A couple of years ago, Michael was called to the Federated Church of Port Byron where Pastor Neil Strong wanted to start a contemporary worship service on Friday evenings.  As time went on, other musicians came and went, until the band as you hear them today came to be.  Michael praises and thanks God daily for the blessing of ministry, his loving family and the friendship and musicianship of The Sent Forth.

“Together, our chemistry makes this band what it is. Separately we are good musicians praising God, but together, something wonderful happens!"

ROBBIE BROWN
DRUMS / PERCUSSION / BACKING VOCALS

Since Rob was knee high to a grasshopper he has attended church and has always had some rhythm.   His grandfather noticed this and bought him his first drum set when he was 11. Raised a Methodist, Rob strayed from his faith in his 20s and 30s.  Then at the age of 35, as a member of a Wesleyan church, Rob rededicated his life to the Lord by being baptized. Since that day, he has used the gift of rhythm to praise God.  Feeling God tug on his heart, he attended a Friday night service to hear The Sent Forth.  The rest is history.  Rob is self taught and loves to play drums and praise God in The Sent Forth.  He and Al once played together as kids and he feels blessed to have that privilege again.

Rob resides in Mexico, New York, is happily married to Brenda, has two sons out on their own, and five grandchildren.  He has served our country in the US Navy and has worked at the James A. Fitzpatrick power plant for many years.  He loves to golf and go camping.

RICK RAINONE
BASS GUITAR / BACKING VOCALS

Rick has been playing bass guitar for more than 35 years and has recently rejoined The Sent Forth after a short hiatus.  Rick spent a number of years under the influence of drugs and alcohol and had numerous encounters with law enforcement.  After the failure of his 18 year marriage, he found himself living on the street, finding shelter in the homes of friends.  When Rick was feeling at his most lost and hopeless, someone asked him if he had Jesus in his life.  Rick had been raised a Catholic but never really practiced or explored his faith.

Having nowhere else to turn and at what was his rock bottom, he went to First Love Ministry and there he met Pastor Robert Canino.  Pastor Bob, as Rick calls him, introduced him to the Savior.  After becoming very close to Pastor Bob and attending services at First Love Ministry, Rick turned his life over to Christ.  Rick is now thankful for his trials and tribulations as they have only served to strengthen his faith.  Had Rick not gone down the path he took, he might never have known the saving grace of the Cross of Jesus.
